HMD launches its first range of impressive and affordable Pulse smartphones in Australia

Human Mobile Devices (HMD) – the brand behind Nokia – has come out from the background and into the foreground to launch its first range of impressive Pulse smartphones under its own name.

HMD has set its sights on manufacturing well-designed quality devices at affordable prices while keeping an eye on sustainability.

Starting at $229 and $299, there are three models in the range which offer a sleek look, eye catching colours an easy an affordable self-repairability.

The HMD Pulse Pro ($299) is aimed at the user who loves taking selfies.

Onboard is a 50-megapixel front facing camera that reacts to gestures that activate the shutter and provide a countdown so you can take the perfect picture.

This feature makes it an ideal choice when taking group selfies.

And with the onboard AI Super Portrait Mode it can also handle any conditions including low light situations they make it even easier to capture those memorable moments at any time.

It’s available in three colours – Glacier Green, Twilight Purple and Black Ocean – and offers a stunning look without the high price tag.

The HMD Pulse+ ($259) an HMD Pulse ($229) offers a similar impressive design and easy repair or replacement for the screen, back panel and battery.

On the camera side there is a 50-megapixel rear camera with depth sensor and a 13-megapixel selfie camera that includes AI HDR and skin tone optimization to produce naturally vibrant images.
