The Tech Guide podcast, hosted by editor Stephen Fenech, has hit No 1 on iTunes and a new episode is available now to stream or download.

This week’s Episode 9 looks at the surge of mobile transactions which are expected to reach $750b by 2017 along with the discovery of a new virus targeted at Mac users.

Stephen also talks about the rumoured mini dock connector which could be included with the new iPhone and other Apple products.

In the Tech Guide reviews we look at the WD My Net N900 Central router and combined external hard drive, the new Samsung compact system cameras with built-in wi-fi and the Padacs Rapid Charge Cable for iOS devices.

This week’s interview is with Symantec’s director of strategic solutions Sean Kopelke who discusses the Symantec Intelligence Report on cyber security.
