Hubbl adds Optus Sport to its streaming TV platform
Hubbl – that little set top box that was launched to “revolutionise” streaming has added Optus Sport as another streaming option on the platform.
Alongside Kayo Sports, Stan Sports, the MLB and MLS on Apple TV+ and all the free to air, when combined it’s a strong sports offering almost unrivalled on similar platforms.
Chromecast with Google TV offers it all in a more open ecosystem, while Fetch has it all bar Kayo, so for many Hubbl might seem the simple solution.
Adding Optus Sport takes to 17 the number of global and local apps now available on Hubbl.
Optus Sport offers a range of mainly Soccer/Football such as the FA Cup, Women’s Super League, K-League and more.
Dani Simpson, Executive Director of Hubbl, “As we continue to roll out our pipeline of updates and innovation we’re excited to welcome the newest partner onboard, Optus Sport joining Hubbl now takes our sport offering to new heights.
“With increased convenience and content choice, customers will have unrivalled access to Australian and international sporting events across the platform.”
Howard Rees, Head of Optus Sport, said: “Hot on the heels of the successful live and exclusive broadcast of EURO 2024 and Copa América 2024, Optus Sport is now readying itself for the return of the Premier League, so we are excited to launch the Optus Sport app on Hubbl, which will provide Optus Sport subscribers with even more ways to enjoy the world’s best football.”
Optus Sport is not available in the My Account section of Hubbl and thus cannot be used to contribute to the “Stack and Save” feature of Hubbl
