Apple confirms the Worldwide Developers Conference 2024 will kick off on June 10

Apple has confirmed it will be holding its annual Worldwide Developers Conference to introduce new software for the iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple Watch, Apple TV and Vision Pro from June 10, 2024 online while also hosting a special event at Apple Park on opening day.

The event will run between June 10 and June 14 and will see the introduction of the latest iOS, iPadOS, macOS, watchOS, tvOS and visionOS.

“We’re so excited to connect with developers from around the world for an extraordinary week of technology and community at WWDC24,” said Susan Prescott, Apple’s vice president of Worldwide Developer Relations.

“WWDC is all about sharing new ideas and providing our amazing developers with innovative tools and resources to help them make something even more wonderful.”

While it is mainly an online event, the Worldwide Developers Conference will also provide the opportunity for developers and students to attend in person for a special event on the opening day to watch the keynote at Apple Park and meet up with members of the Apple team.

Details on how to apply to attend can be found here.

Once again Apple will also be encouraging student developers with the Swift Student Challenge to foster and develop the next generation of creators and entrepreneurs.

At last year’s Worldwide Developers Conference, Apple introduced its new Vision Pro – a brand new product line for the company which will be released in Australia later this year.
