Apple’s latest iPad Pros will reportedly be unveiled before the end of month with new features including M3 chips, updated cameras and a thinner design.
Industry insiders are saying Apple will announce the new models in late March before they go on sale in mid-April.
There are expected to be two new iPad Pro models – 11-inch and a new 13-inch with Apple’s latest M3 chips which are now included in the latest MacBook Pro, MacBook Air and iMac.
The new iPad Pros will also include a new premium OLED display which means it will be thinner than previous models.
Apple is expected to limit OLED to the iPad Pro models and continue with LCD screens in the iPad and iPad Air.
Another new feature will be a landscape positioned camera for improved Facetime calls.
This means the camera will be positioned on the longer edge of the iPad Pro and make it easier to centre the user on the video call.
Currently the camera is located on the smaller top edge so when used in landscape mode it was harder to centre the user on the screen because it was at one end of the device.
The iPad Pro is rumoured to have other design changes including a new rear camera bump and possibly MagSafe wireless charging.
Another update could also come with the Magic Keyboard accessory will have an aluminium construction and a larger trackpad.
Apple will also reportedly unveil two new iPad Air models with M2 chips including its first 12.9-inch model with a landscape oriented camera.
There is also an outside chance we will also be introduced to a new Apple Pencil which will work with the new iPad Pro OLED displays.
