Samsung’s new Galaxy A55 5G and A35 5G smartphones offer innovation at a more affordable price

Samsung has just unveiled its latest Galaxy A series smartphones – the A55 5G and A35 5G – which offer a selection of the company’s latest innovations at a more affordable price.

Many of the features onboard had been inspired by the flagship Galaxy S series devices including an improved camera, sleek design and even more robust security.

The Samsung Galaxy A55 5G and A35 5G will go on sale on March 25 and will be priced at $699 and $549 respectively.

Both of Samsung’s new Galaxy A series devices feature a 6.6-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED with up to 120z refresh rate and Vision Booster to ensure the display is easy to read even in bright sunlight.

On the camera side, the Galaxy A55 5G uses advanced AI image signal processing (ISP) to create stunning results in low light – something we’ve never seen before on a Galaxy A series device.

Also onboard is Night Portrait mode and 12-bit HDR video to make sure everything in the frame looks great.

The cameras onboard the A55 5G and A35 5G offer optical image stabilisation (OIS) and video digital image stabilisation (VDIS) to ensure your videos and images sharp and clear.

Security has also gone to another level with the new Galaxy A55 5G and Galaxy A35 5G thanks to Samsung Knox Vault which is available on the Galaxy A series for the very first time.

This technology offers security for both hardware and software and can help protect your private data another encrypted information including pin codes, passwords and patterns.

It means only the owner with the correct lock screen credentials can access the data on the device even if it is lost or stolen.

One of the new security measures is Auto Blocker which, when switched on, can stop app installations from unauthorised sources and provide app security checks for potential malware.

The new Galaxy A55 5G and A35 5G will go sale on March 25 from the Samsung Online Store and select retail partners and will be priced at $699 and $549, respectively.

The Galaxy A55 5G will be available in two colours – Awesome Navy and Awesome Lilac, while the Galaxy A35 5G comes in Awesome Navy and Awesome Ice Blue.

Customers who buy the Galaxy A55 5G from the Samsung Online Store before April 15 will also receive a bonus pair of Galaxy Buds FE.

Those who buy the Galaxy A35 5G before April 15 will receive $100 off their purchase from the Samsung Online Store.
