Pure Sensia 200D Connect has the looks, sound and content

The latest football-shaped Pure Sensia device – the 200D Connect – has the upped the ante when it comes to the number of entertainment options available to the user.

The wireless music and radio system gets a big tick when it comes to style and audio quality but now an equally large tick when it comes to content.

With the Pure Sensia 200D Connect it’s now possible to wirelessly stream music from your iPhone or Android smartphone with the free Pure Lounge app as well as listen to and record radio from around the world.

The device itself has an eye-catching egg shape with a 5.7-inch colour touchscreen and 30W RMS speakers powered by DSP tuned Class-D amplifiers that offer full-bodied and detailed sound.

There’s also wi-fi on board so it can not only stream from smartphones but also connect to the audio content on your PC or Mac computer as well.

That wi-fi connection also puts thousands of internet radio stations at your fingertips.

But the Pure Sensia 200D Connect goes one step further and allows users to record the radio as well with instant or timed recording to a USB memory stick.

There are three timers which can be set through the device’s touchscreen to capture your favourite programs.

The device can also tag music heard on the radio as you hear them to purchase later and also display information about the artist and their back catalogue.

While music or the radio is playing the relevant album art is displayed in the device’s 5.7-inch screen.

Users can also utilise the Sensia 200D Connect’s screen to access Facebook, Twitter and RSS feeds and even images from photo-sharing websites like Picasa.

And the advanced user interface makes it easy to enter information using the on-screen keyboard along with the ability to scroll long lists quickly.

There’s also and Aux In port to connect and iPhone, iPod or other MP3 player.

Also available is an optional ChargePAK to make the Sensia 200D Connect completely portable.
