Modern technology gives us many things.

Jabra unveils new Elite range of earphones with improved call and audio quality

Jabra has unveiled its new Elite earphones range which it says re-invents the true wireless space with superior audio quality, enhanced call technology and improved active noise cancellation.

The new Jabra range includes the Elite 7 Pro, the Elite 7 Active and the Elite 3.

JABRA ELITE PRO 7 – $299

The Jabra Elite 7 Pro introduces the new Jabra MultiSensor Voice for best in-class performance for enhanced call clarity even in the noisiest environments.

Voice calling is now an integral part of wireless earphones considering how often we’re wearing them and the increase in the number of voice calls we’re now making.

The MultiSensor Voice actually includes a bone conduction sensor, four microphones and an algorithm that can ensure clear calls.

This algorithm analyses the types of noise around you like wind noise to activate the VPU (voice pick up sensor) and increase your voice clarity.

Bone conduction is used to transmit your voice via your jawbone to add to the call quality.

The Jabra Elite 7 Pro also features adjustable active noise cancellation (ANC) so you can focus even more on your content.

Also onboard is the Jabra MySound technology to optimise the sound to your hearing and HearThrough to give the user control on how much noise they want to let in.

And despite all of this additional technology and improvement onboard, the Jabra Elite 7 Pro earphones are actually 16 per cent smaller than the popular Jabra Elite 75t.

The earphones offer up to nine hours of playback even with ANC and 35 hours in total with the charging case.

The Jabra Elite 7 Pro also comes with Alexa, Siri and Google Assistant compatibility.

JABRA ELITE 7 ACTIVE – $279

For active users the Jabra Elite 7 Active has been designed to suit them and how they use the earphones.

These earphones don’t include the MultiSensor Voice technology but have the same audio quality as the Elite 7 Pro.

What they do have is the ShakeGrip coating to provide an even better fit even when you’re enjoying outdoor activities, running and exercising.

It uses liquid silicone rubber and a wing-free design for a proper fit.

JABRA ELITE 3 – $119

The entry-level Jabra Elite 3 earphones offer a rich sound and solid bass and represent great value considering the quality they provide.

They have 6mm speakers for clear audio and calls with seven hours of playback and 28 hours including the case.

“The world has never been noisier, and we are more connected than ever before. This requires innovative technology to deliver the best voice, calls and music experience,” says Rishi Chawla, Director, Head of Retail and Online Sales ANZ at Jabra.

“At Jabra, we take our many years of experience to push the boundaries of technology, with the launch of our Elite 7 Pro, Elite 7 Active and Elite 3 earbuds as a result.

“The introduction of these new products signifies huge developments within the market, and we are excited to be at the forefront.”

The Jabra Elite range will go on sale at major retailers on September 6.
