Bowers & Wilkins release Pi7 S2 earphones that deliver high resolution audio
Bowers & Wilkins have just unveiled the Pi7 S2 true wireless noise cancelling earphones that offer high resolution audio and clear voice calls.
The Pi7 S2 earphones are available in three colours – Satin Black, Canvas White and Midnight Blue – and are priced at $649.
Design-wise, the earphones have a premium design and are made with quality materials which is typical of any Bowers and Wilkins product.
There is a true 24-bit connection between the left and right ear buds to maintain the high sound quality and high-resolution wireless audio is constantly being adjusted to offer superior performance.
Under the hood are 9.2mm two-way driver units in each earbud which are basically shrunken down high-performance speakers so you’re getting the same rich and immersive sound at all ranges from solid bass all the way up to powerful mids and detailed high notes.
The earphones offer support for Qualcomm aptX Adaptive which allows for high-resolution music transmission from popular streaming services and devices.
The Pi7 S2 true wireless earphones also features active noise cancellation which listens out for the ambient sound and generates the reverse sound wave to cancel it out.
But the ANC is also adaptive and can react to your surroundings and offer different levels of noise cancellation based on the noise level around you.
The included charging case not only provides power for the buds but it can also function as an audio retransmission system.
Users can connect the case, for example, to external source like an in-flight entertainment system with a USB C cable and then transmit the signal via Bluetooth to the Pi7 S2 earphones.
The Pi7 S2 Battery life runs for up to five hours of listening time while a quick charge function can offer an additional 2 hours of listening from just a 15-minute charge.
The Bowers & Wilkins Pi7 S2 earphones are available now and are priced at $649.
