Ever wish you could take your 27-inch screen with you? LG will let you do just that with the new StanbyME Go which includes a 27-inch touch display that’s neatly integrated into a rugged carry case.
The LG StanbyME Go, which will be officially unveiled at the IFA 2023 trade show in Berlin this week, allows users to stream movies, mirror their smartphones, play games and more.
The sturdy case that houses the display can be opened and used as a base as the screen is tilted up out of the case ad angled for comfortable viewing.
The display can not only be tilted upwards but also rotated 90 degrees from landscape to portrait mode.
Users can also use the screen in table mode where the screen lies flat in the lower part of the case to play digital boardgames or the virtual record player.
Also onboard is a 20W four-channel speaker system which automatically optimise audio output in front of the screen.
The LG StanbyME Go also supports Dolby video and audio technologies like Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos.
The device is running the LG webOS smart TV platform and allows users to connect their Android smartphone or iPhone and mirror their screens.
Users can also use voice control to launch apps, adjust sound and search for content hands-free which is a handy feature if you’re cooking, cleaning or otherwise occupied.
The LG StanbyME Go will launch globally from next month – pricing has yet to be announced.
