Nintendo to launch a super-sized 3DS XL
Nintendo will release a larger version of the 3DS with a screen that’s 90 per cent larger than the original and featuring an updated design.
The super-sized Nintendo 3DS XL is due for release on August 23 and will still offer users the ability to view 3D content without glasses.
The top screen will now be 4.88-inches and the bottom screen has been enlarged to 4.18-inches.

The new larger device will be available in silver + black, red + black and blue + black and will also feature a larger battery to power even longer performance.
The 3DS XL will also ship with a 4GB SD card and will be released on the same day as New Art Academy – the latest entry in the Art Academy series.
The 3DS XL will now offer even more room to create drawings with New Art Academy.
That extra screen space will also come in handy for the New Super Mario Bros 2 game which launches a few days earlier than the 3DS XL on August 18.
The 3DS XL will be available on August 23 and will be priced at suggested retail price of $249.95.
