Uniden releases its latest range of dash cams including its first 5K resolution model

Uniden has just introduced the latest members of its dash cam family – the DashView and iGO Cam series. There are five new models in the ranges led by the DashView 60+ which is Uniden’s first 5K resolution dash Cam.

The new models offer high tech features and a slick design which stick true to the brand’s commitment to industry-leading Japanese quality that’s built for Australians.

There are now even more options with the dash cams to capture video outside and inside the vehicle which makes it attractive to recreational drivers, commuters and professional users like taxi drivers, couriers and rideshare drivers.

DASHVIEW CAM SERIES

The Uniden DashView range offers the latest cutting edge dash cam technology and manages to pack it into a compact design which makes it easier to position discreetly in your car.
The DashView 60+ has a 5K resolution and 150-degree wide angle front facing camera to capture the highest possible quality when you’re driving.

Under the hood is the Sony Starvis sensors which have impressive low light sensitivity and wide dynamic range, so you have a clearer image at all levels of brightness and at all times of the day.

The DashView dash cams also have Smart Parking Mode so they can record motion activated events in 6o second blocks even when the car is off and parked.

The new DashView 60R is a 4K smart dash cam and includes a 2K super HD rear camera to offer even more vision around your vehicle.

iGO CAM SERIES

The Uniden iGO Cam series – iGO Cam 35 and iGO Cam 45R – are compact and affordable and use the latest in car accident recording “black box” technology.

It has a 130-degree wide angle field of view so you can record more action around the car while the three axis g-sensor measures and captures acceleration and g-force impact in three different dimensions.

It also has a built in parking sensor to detect sudden vibration and trigger recordings even when the engine is turned off.

The iGO Cam 35 has a 2-inch LCD colour screen and full HD camera while the iGO Cam 45R has a 3-inch LCD screen and a 2K colour camera and a full HD rear camera and wi-fi connectivity to easily view and transfer videos using the companion app.

The cameras come with a sticker mount and a rotating design to offer better visibility and stability.
