Epson launches new Laser Projection TV to provide a cinema experience at home
Epson has released an all-new 4K TV viewing experience – a Laser Projection TV – that can offer a picture up to 120-inches in size so you can enjoy your movies and games in cinema-like conditions at home.
The Epson EH-LS500B Laser Projection TV combines an ultra-short throw laser projector and an ultra-high definition ambient light rejecting screen to produce stunning vivid colours and deep blacks.
The result is an exceptionally bright and sharp picture which can be viewed in all kinds of viewing environments – even during the day.
The unit can be positioned on top of an entertainment unit just half a metre from the wall to project up to a 120-inch image onto the fixed screen.
Also included with the unit is the Epson Smart Media player to enjoy streaming content as well as a remote that enables voice search.
There are also HDMI ports to connect 4K HDR sources and gaming consoles at a full 60Hz.
On the audio side there are also two built-in 10W speakers but you can also connect it to an external speaker system or sound bar.
The EH-LS500B Laser Projection TV utilises the Epson 3LCD, 3-chip technology which results in colours that are up to three times brighter at 4000 lumens colour and 4000 lumens white.
Users can expect 20,000 hours of maintenance-free operation and instant on and off functionality.
Under the hood is a 4K enhancement processor which takes advantage of Epson’s pixel-shifting resolution-enhancement technology to offer eye-catching ultra-high definition picture quality with a contrast ratio up to 2,500,000:1 for inky black and bold colours.
The Epson EH-LS500B Laser Projection TV is available in either 100 or 120-inch screen bundle options and comes with a three-year warranty.
