Telstra unveils third generation Telstra TV and new home broadband plans
Telstra will next week launch its improved third-generation Telstra TV along with new home broadband plans with no lock-in contracts.
The latest Telstra TV will be released on February 26 and include an improved wireless remote control that will now include voice search as well controls that can adjust the TV’s volume and power.
Also onboard is a TV Smart Search feature which means users can ask for actors, TV shows and movies across live TV and streaming services
Customers will find with the new Telstra TV that Bigpond Movies has been replaced by Telstra TV Box Office where you can buy or rent the latest release film which can be billed to your Telstra monthly account.
From February 26, Telstra will also launch new home broadband plans for new and returning customers.
The two new plans are:
– Essential Internet Plan for $70/mth with 100GB of data and nbn25 (Standard Evening Speed)
– Unlimited Internet Plan for $90/mth with unlimited data and nbn50 (Standard Plus Evening Speed)
Customers can then add other services and accessories to their package including Foxtel Now (from $25 a month), Telstra Smart Home (from $25 a month) or Kayo ($25 a month).
