TCL Mobile has kicked off the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas by unveiling a range of new products including an updated NXTWEAR AIR wearable display, the latest paper-like NXTPAPER technology, its first foray into the laptop space and the new flagship 30 Series smartphones.
The company had a busy 2021 after launching 11 products which included smartphones, tablets, audio products and wearables.
TCL Mobile has got 2022 off to a flyer with a host of new products designed to fit into the consumer’s digital lifestyle.
TCL NXTWEAR AIR WEARABLE DISPLAY
The TCL NXTWEAR second generation wearable display glasses are 30 per cent lighter than the previous iteration but still provide a rich big screen experience for entertainment and productivity.
Users wearing the display glasses can unchain themselves from offices, living rooms and small in-flight entertainment screens and are able to enjoy their content on a grander scale.
And because they are glasses that you wear, the display moves with you whether you are standing, sitting or lying in bed.
Inside the glasses are two 1080p micro-LED displays which provide incredible detail and vibrant natural colours while still maintaining deep blacks and impressive contrast.
It is the equivalent of watching a 140-inch screen from 4m away which means it’s your personal movie theatre that can go anywhere with you.
Audio is played through the arms of the glasses but, for more private viewing, you can also connect your own wired or wireless headphones.
The TCL NXTWEAR AIR comes with two exchangeable front lenses to offer users the choice of matching their individual style.
The glasses connect to your device with the USB-C cable which allows the glasses to operate without an onboard rechargeable battery and without the weight of a wireless receiver onboard.
TCL NXTPAPER 10S
The TCL NXTPAPER 10s is designed to reduce blue light and present a paper-like display which utilises 10 layers of protection to offer natural vibrant colours.
The screen is TUV certified and reduces blue light by more than 50 per cent which allows customers to enjoy their content from any angle thanks to the display’s anti-glare finish.
The device has 10-inch screen that is not only ideal for consuming content but also writing down notes on the pressure sensitive screen using the company’s proprietary T Pen.
It is powered through an 8000mAh battery which provides more than a full day of use so you can keep yourself entertained and stay creative and productive on the move.
Accessories to help with your mobile productivity will include a Folio Keyboard and a Writing Board.
TCL BOOK 14 GO
TCL has expanded into the laptop space for the first time with the TCL Book 14 Go.
The laptop is running Windows 11 and is aimed squarely at students and young professionals.
Housed in a sleek metal frame that is just 13.95mm thick, the TCL Book 14 Go has a 14.1-inch display with slim bezels and tips the scales at just 1.3kg making it super portable so you can get to work anywhere.
The TCL Book 14 Go incorporates 4G LTE connectivity so there is no need to hunt around for wi-fi if you need to get your work done.
The laptop is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7C ARM-based architecture which means the laptop can instantly wake from sleep but also deliver up to 12 hours of battery life.
TCL 30 SERIES SMARTPHONES
TCL Mobile has teased its new 30 Series smartphones which will include AMOLED displays with all-day low blue light enhanced NXTVISION technology along with stereo speakers, a premium design and competitive pricing.
TCL Mobile will share more details about its 30 series smartphones, including the TCL 30 5G, at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona.
Australian availability and pricing will be revealed as the products’ launch dates are confirmed.
