Apple hits a purple patch with the latest iPhone 12 – we take a hands-on look

Tech Guide has taken a first look at the new purple iPhone 12 – a vibrant new colour for one of Apple’s most popular products in recent years.

Last year the iPhone 12 went on sale and it immediately became a hit.

One of the reasons for that was the choice of colours.

Now there is a new colour available for the iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Mini – it’s purple.

This new purple option provides yet another choice for customers on top of the other five colours – white, black, blue, green, (PRODUCT)RED. Now you’ve got purple.

On the rear panel is a glossy purple colour with a matching purple anodised aluminium frame.

Our guess is that this colour will probably be more popular among female customers.

In terms of specs for the iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Mini it is identical with an advanced dual camera system, Super Retina XDR display, Ceramic Shield front screen, A14 Bionic processor and, of course, 5G connectivity.

The purple iPhone 12 will be available to pre-order from April 23 and will be in store on April 30. It will be priced from $1,199 (iPhone 12 Mini) and $1,349 (iPhone 12).
