Boost Mobile launches new pre-paid international roaming pack

Boost Mobile, the popular pre-paid mobile plan brand, is now offer Australians the same value they are known for when they travel overseas with new international roaming packs.

More than 59 per cent of young Australians aged 16-34 use their phones when they are on holiday so having enough data is important to them as they take photos of their trip and share them on social media

The Boost Mobile International Roaming recharge can be used in 15 popular overseas destinations and includes 5GB of data, 100 texts and 30 minutes of calls to and from standard numbers.

And you get all of that for $60 with a 14-day expiry.

On top of that, selected Boost Anytime Plus recharges will also receive a bonus 14GB on their first three recharges.

The Boost Mobile Roaming recharge can be used in China, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, New Zealand, Portugal, Singapore, Spain, Taiwan, Thailand, UK and the USA.

These include most of the top 10 countries where 60 per cent of Australians travelled recently.

“As part of our 20th year celebrations, we are happy to further expand what we can offer our customers, continuing to give them the best deals with more data, more coverage and more choice,” said Peter Adderton, Founder of Boost Mobile.

“Young Australians love to travel and being connected while overseas is absolutely crucial to our customers no matter where they are! Boost Mobile’s new roaming offers allow consumers to Snapchat from the slopes in Japan, or post Tik Toks of their Iberian adventure in Spain without the need to hunt down the closest free wi-fi or fear of bill-shock once they get home.”

“While today is an important announcement for us, it is just the beginning. We have a vision that ultimately nobody pays roaming rates to be able to travel globally, that the price is the price whether you’re in Australia or traveling Europe.
“That’s how it should be. We’re pushing this every single day with our partners and the industry.”

Boost Mobile pre-paid offers will be available from boost.com.au and more than 12,000 retail outlets across Australia including Australia Post, Big W, Coles, JB Hi-Fi, Kmart, Target, 7 Eleven and Woolworths.
