Modern technology gives us many things.

Mophie Juice Pack can keep your iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus charged on the go

Smartphone battery power is a valuable resource especially for users on the go and Mophie has released new charging cases for the iPhone 6 and the larger iPhone 6 Plus.

When your smartphone’s battery runs low, not everyone has the time to sit next to a power point while it’s recharging.

This is why the new Mophie Juice Pack for iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus is so useful for people on the move that rely on having their devices by their side day and night.

The Mophie Juice Pack is both a protective case and a battery pack and can charge the smartphone inside the case while it’s in your pocket, in your bag or in your hand.

The case has level two protection which means it can handle high impact.

For the iPhone 6 there is the Juice Pack Air – which can get your battery to 100 per cent – and the Juice Pack Plus – which has 120 per cent of your battery capacity so it can recharge the battery completely and still have 20 per cent left over.

The iPhone 6 Plus Mophie Juice Pack can recharge the device’s battery to 60 per cent capacity.

The case has a rubberised feel and has a top section that detaches to allow the iPhone 6 or the iPhone 6 Plus to slide inside and connect to the built-in Lightning connector.

Once the top section is reattached the device is securely locked inside while still allowing access to all the buttons.

And the good news is the Mophie Juice Pack doesn’t add too much bulk to the phone. In fact, it’s hardly thicker than a regular protective case.

The bottom of the case is extended slightly to fit in the Lightning connector and the battery and this puts the headphone jack out of reach but Mophie includes an audio extension cable so you can still connect your own headphones.

On the back of the case are four indicator lights and a switch so you can control when the case is actually charging your iPhone.

A button on the left activates the four indicator lights so you can see how much charge is left onboard.

On the bottom edge is a microUSB charging port so you can charge the battery inside the Mophie Juice Case.

There is pass-through charge which means the iPhone can be charged while the case is being charged.  The iPhone gets charged first before the case is recharged.

There’s also pass-through sync so you connect the iPhone to your computer via the microUSB port.

The Mophie Juice Pack and Juice Back Plus for the iPhone 6 are available in three colours – white, black and gold – and priced at $129.95 and $149.95 respectively.
