Roborock reveals its new S8 Pro Ultra robot vacuum and cleaning station
Roborock has unveiled its new S8 Pro Ultra robot vacuum and cleaning station which has more powerful suction and an improved mopping system to provide an even more efficient cleaning system.
The Roborock S8 Pro Ultra is a self-sufficient system that can store up to seven weeks of dirt and dust before it needs your attention.
The station extracts the dust from the vacuum and stores it in the 2.5L bag and replaces the dirty mopping water with clean water.
Onboard the S8 Pro Ultra is a new DuoRoller brush that improves vacuum performance with less tangling.
Suction power has increased to 6000 Pa so it can easily remove dust, hair and debris from your carpets and hard floors.
On the mopping side, Roborock S8 Pro Ultra has a new VibraRise mopping system that can vibrate 3000 times a minute for better scrubbing while applying 6N pressure.
And the mop lifts away up to 5mm when not in use to keep it away from your carpet.
When the vacuum comes back to the charging station, it automatically washed and rinses the mop pad to ensure its clean for its next sweep.
Roborock S8 Pro Ultra also has an onboard 3D obstacle avoidance system that can identify and avoid obstacles and potential hazards on the floor like shoes, toys, socks and cables.
In fact there are 42 objects in its data base which it knows to avoid including power strips and even pet waste.
The device uses PreciSense LIDAR navigation system which creates a detailed map of your home to find the most efficient path to clean your home.
And if you have multiple levels in your home, Roborock S8 Pro Ultra can recognise each different level without the need for any additional docks or app identification. It can remember up to four levels.
Through the Roborock companion app users can also create no-go zones in their home where they don’t want the S8 Pro Ultra to enter also set up custom routines where you choose the time, the cleaning mode and the room you want cleaned.
The Roborock S8 Pro Ultra is also smart enough to charge itself at off-peak periods to save your energy bills.
