LG’s new ARTCOOL Gallery looks like a work of art – but it’s also an air conditioner
LG has unveiled its new ARTCOOL Gallery air conditioner which includes a 27-inch LCD screen to display images and art while heating and cooling your home.
ARTCOOL Gallery can be mounted on your wall like a picture frame and display your personalised content while at the same time delivering cooling and heating with the LGDUAL Cylinder Inverter Compressor.
The device’s three-way air flow can optimise for the space while keeping noise levels as low as 20 decibels.
ARTCOOL Gallery includes the LGAI Dry feature which can remove any moisture that forms inside the air conditioner.
This new model also has a bottom grill which can be detached for easy cleaning and a cover that makes installation even easier.
The LCD screen is bordered with a simple frame, so ARTCOOL Gallery looks more like a work of art rather than an air conditioner.
Customers can use the ThinQ app to select from a range of static and animated images or your favourite family photos.
The ARTCOOL Gallery can also be controlled using the included smart remote or via the mobile app which gives users access to the settings and functions as well as being able to monitor the appliance’s status at any time.
“Offering outstanding performance and artistic themes fit for all tastes and seasons, our latest ARTCOOL Gallery air conditioner delivers year-around comfort and elegance,” said Lyu Jae-cheol, president of LG Electronics Home Appliance & Air Solution Company.
“With the unique combination of personalised content and cutting-edge technologies, LG’s innovative, new air solution is designed to help provide consumers with a better life at home.”
The LG ARTCOOL Gallery will be on display at the upcoming Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas.
It will go on sale in Australia in the coming months. Pricing is yet to be announced.
