Drivers can cut the cord when connecting to Android Auto with the Motorola MA1 Wireless Car Adapter which can connect your smartphone to your car’s screen without having to mess with cables.

Priced at $159, the MA1 Wireless Car Adapter from Motorola plugs into your car’s USB port to enable your smartphone to wirelessly connect to the vehicle.

There are no apps to download and no settings that need to be adjusted – you simply plug in the MA1 Wireless Car Adapter and put away the USB cable for good.

The Motorola MA1 also utilises voice control through Google to send messages, enter addresses for navigation, get directions and control your media playback with the Hey Google command.

And this is all done with your hands on the wheel and your eyes on the road.

Android Auto is supported by more than 500 car models in Australia which mostly require a USB cable to connect.

Now the Motorola MA1 provides a seamless wireless connection even though their vehicle doesn’t have the factory supply technology to enable it.

To use Android Auto wirelessly on your car’s display, the vehicle must be compatible with Android Auto and paired with an Android smartphone running Android 11 or higher.
