Modern technology gives us many things.

With Obsbot’s Tiny 2 4K webcam you look and sound your best and are always perfectly framed

They say good things come in small packages and the Obsbot Tiny 2 4K webcam certainly fits the bill. It offers remarkable quality and features and manages to pack them into a compact chassis that can rest on top of your monitor or laptop.

The unit is 6.2cm tall and 4.4cm wide with a camera resting on a two-axis gimbal so it can effortlessly pan and tilt and keep you in the frame.

There is a small kickstand that allows users to securely position the camera on top of monitor or on top of a laptop’s screen.

We placed the Obsbot Tiny 2 on top of one of our external monitors which didn’t have a built-in camera.

The camera has a 1/1.5-inch CMOS sensor with a 26mm focal length and a 10cm minimum focus distance.

It has a 72.9-degree horizontal field of view and an 85.5-degree vertical FOV.

It is compatible with both Windows (Windows 10 or later) and Mac (macOS 11 or later) computers and performs best with computers equipped with Intel Core i5 processors or higher.

The Obsbot also has a companion application that allows users to enjoy the full range of features and access the settings.

In terms of video quality the Obsbot Tiny 2 can adapt to different lighting conditions thanks to its dual native ISO so you always looking bright and clear.

This means the colours look natural without overexposing the video and washing it out.

And it does all this automatically.

The dual native ISO also does the heavy lifting with the PixGain HDR feature that offers high dynamic range video without any motion blur.

And the camera can also handle group meetings and automatically frame everyone and keep all people in view.

Another impressive feature is Desk Mode which can bend and crop the image to look like a top down camera for the times you need to present something to your audience.

Also onboard is All-Pixel Auto Focus which can focus 4x faster even in low light conditions.

The Obsbot Tiny 2 also has Beauty Mode to keep you looking your best.

In this mode your skin instantly looks smoother and the areas around your eyes are brighter.

The Obsbot Tiny 2 connects to your computer with a USB-C 3.0 cable which offers 10 times faster data transmission and greater bandwidth so it can transmit 1080p video without any compression or transcoding.

And, of course, there’s also AI under the hood which powers features like Auto Tracking and Auto Zoom which can smoothly track the subject using a neural learning algorithm.

And it automatically adjust the zoom while it’s tracking as well.

The camera also has a range of voice controls for hands-free use.

You can say “Hi Tiny” to turn it on and “Sleep Tiny” to turn it off and instruct it to track you, come closer and zoom out.

The Obsbot Tiny 2 can also be controlled with gestures.

For example you can zoom in and out by bringing your hands together and apart to zoom in and out and you can also hold up a hand to select a target area.

On the audio side, the camera has a crisp microphone system with noise reduction so you will sound as good as you look.

The Obsbot Tiny Smart Remote 2 is also an optional extra which puts every control at your fingertips.
